Default And that’s all I really wanted!

Was an awesome trip to the dealer today thank god and everyone was very friendly, i felt at home.
my service advisor was very transparent and understanding in what I wanted to get done on the car. After all was complete he told me the car was in really good condition and that keep it up and was impressed by the mileage it has 54,233... thank you all for your support ! 😇😇

I am no longer an angry person , and appreciate my car so much more now and will live on with it.

After my nightmare experiences I had in the past I was furious and didn’t want the car anymore, I was asked if I’d sell for 22 and I said no because I know the car I have I can’t get something as good for 22k ....
dream came true

i had the 60k done and not the belts because i would get done at 80k. with a coupon and saved $$ and they washed it so it looked badass.

That is great to know! In my honest opinion, the dealership can make or break the experience. I drive about an hour away from my house to Lexus of Route 10 in NJ because their service is always excellent.

Same - I drive an hour away to Lexus of Bridgewater and have always had a positive experience.

My 13 has less than 68,000 miles and I've owned it since January of 2018. I've done all the service to it myself except for the alignment. Oil changes and filters mostly. One rear wheel bearing and a defective clock replaced by me. I added mud flaps and a rear spoiler.

Not much else to do to an 8-year-old car with this low mileage.

My 2013 GS has 110k miles, the original belt, and it's still in good shape. These belts last a long time. If there is no abnormal or excessive wear there is no reason to change it. I check my belt every 10k miles when I do my oil change.

And that is the essence of preventative maintenance as opposed to preemptive maintenance. If our cars had a timing belt, I'd suggest preemptive because if that goes, the car stops in a very bad way.

On Hondas, I change belts pretty religiously, maybe pushing it a bit but never far.

Fluids are usually cheap insurance. I change the oil as prescribed but something that doesn't accumulate combustion residue, like transmissions and differentials, I check and go on.
