Hey guys,
I've been looking through hundreds of threads trying to see if anyone addressed my question but to no avail. I have a 2015 GS350 fsport RWD with the current setup of 265/35/19 in the rear and 235/40/19 in the front. I'm looking to upgrade the wheels and I want to go up a size to 20" wheels and also want it to be square so I can rotate my tires and have them last a bit longer. I know the recommended tire size for going to 20's is 235/35/20 (0.4% difference from stock) but I was wondering if 245/35/20 (1.5% difference from stock) would fit all around, does anyone currently run that setup and what issues would it present? In the grand scheme of things is a 1.5% difference a no-no when sizing up and going from a staggered setup to a square setup? Thanks in advance!

I'm lowered on 20x9 +24 with 245/35, this setup is not for everyone. The fitment is very close to the fender, you will need to roll and shave. I would come in 5mm for better clearance, but it wont look as nice. Are you planning to lower or fender mods?

See this helpful thread as a few members are running 245/35/20 without issue: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ders-true.html

Dang I was hoping I wouldn't need to touch the fenders. I do want to lower it, not drastically maybe an inch or less. Would I need to go down to 235 to avoid any fender mods?

^^^You could do that set up and then throw a spacer in the rear for a more flush set up.

Thank you for confirming! That's actually what I was thinking about doing, do you know how a 245/35/20 tire sits on a 20x9 wheel? I'm trying to avoid a stretched look and want a sidewall that's a little more flush with the wheel

Running cheap ATR Sport 2's, between the wife and I we have 5 cars and my motorcycle so I can't see the value in putting expensive tires on a car that doesn't get much road time. No spacers, the rears need to be adjusted to take out camber, right now its still slightly rubbing in the rear on uneven pavement and I would like to resolve that before having an alignment done. On coilovers and never really measured how much lower, but I am 26 inches from ground to fender at all 4 corners.

From factory the rear has some negative camber, if you compare the front to the rear of your car you will notice this. I have installed adjustable upper rear arms to bring the camber toward the fender to match up with the fronts. Im all about symmetry, I need all corners the same high from ground to fender lip, and same amount of camber so that the wheels look the same.
where in CA are you? If you are local we can meet up and I can show you how it looks in person.
