Hi All,
Installing an aftermarket sub in the back of my 13 GSh with ML and have a couple of questions:
1. Does the ML system roll off bass as volume increases? I listened and I didn't hear any roll off but I'd like to be sure. I have a Lc2i Pro and can use Accubass to restore.
2. Does anyone know the ML high-pass crossover point for the front door speakers? My door speakers are able to play a 40hz & 50hz mp3 file. At least vibrate that low. I thought for sure I won't have to worry about driver damage when trying to adjust/tune the sub amp thinking that the fronts are crossed over at 80hz +?
2. Has anyone installed an amp rack on the bottom of the rear deck or on the sides of the trunk allowing for quick and easy removal of a sub cabinet? If so, do you have pics?
3. I ride with my seat all the way back and my left ear is getting blown out by the left rear door tweeter due to proximity. I have the staging set forward but want to maintain the rear fill and would prefer not to disconnect the left rear door tweeter. Has anyone covered it with something on the outside of the door panel to temper the highs or preferably, directed the sound towards the back?
4. Other than the panel below the steering wheel, along the console or in the coin holder, has anyone installed a bass control **** anywhere else?
Thanks in advance..
Neil
