How To Fix Sagging Rear Bumper
Over the course of owning my 2013 GS350 I noticed evidence that it had been in an unreported fender bender with repair and paint to both bumpers and passenger front quarter panel. I recently had the paint corrected and they agreed with that assessment and also thought the paint had been blended into the hood and passenger front door. The rear bumper seems to be sagging a bit under the brake lights, presumably after replacing the bumper and it's also suffering from some paint loss where the bumper has rubbed up against the bottom of the brake lights.
My question is, is there a way to get the bumper up tighter against the brake lights? There is a sizeable panel gap there and that is where I need to touch up some paint and I want to reduce the gap so the touch up is less noticeable. For those that have had the rear bumper off, is there something common that would explain the gap?

I have the same issue with a gap underneath the left rear brake light. I think someone had said that it was likely due to a clip that was broken. There's a YouTube video on how to remove the bumper, and then you can replace the clip. I haven't gotten around to doing it yet, though.
