Greetings all,
Does anyone know if the luxury package in the post-facelift cars include a wood trim steering wheel like in the 2013-2015 model years? I'm searching for a 2016-2020 GS AWD in my ideal configuration, and I'm having a bear of a time finding any cars post-facelift with the luxury package. I've found -one- car in base trim with the Mark Levinson logo on the head unit, but it had the regular base seats and leather steering wheel. I know I'm being picky, but what can I say - I love wood!
It's not a dealbreaker and I'll probably end up getting one without these options, but it would be nice. The luxury package seems like an extremely rare option, even in the pre-facelift AWD models.

You can likely find the Wood wheel and put it on yourself, but there were additional options in that package. Maybe someone here swapped out. Most hate it. I love it and the feel of it. IMO it makes the car look way more upscale also.

@mogi68 you are more likely to find a luxury package in a pre-facelift car as there were generally more GS's produced for 2013-2015. A nationwide search on cars.com only brings back two cars (unfortunately both RWD) that are 2016/2017 w/luxury package and that wood steering wheel you mentioned:
If you have a good relationship with a local Lexus dealer, let the pre-owned manager know you are looking for a 2016/2017 Luxury Pkg GS350 - they may be able to find one and bring it in for you to purchase.
The Lux was only available on 2016 and 2017 models, discontinued thereafter.
Wrong. I have a fully loaded 2013 AWD LUX with the wood wheel.
OP, the LUX models are unicorns. But trust me, they are worth searching for. They come with options even FSports can’t get. DEFINITELY wait and try to get one if you can. Search nationally and have it shipped to you if you must. My wood wheel is one of my top favorite things about my car.
Car shipping is very common now. Last month I got a used Acura MDX Advance with Super Handling All Wheel Drive, fully loaded with every option including self driving, shipped to MI from Arkansas. It was only $500 more and the deal I got was insane.
My dad also recently got a 2018 E Class with the P300 package (Rarer than snow in hell) shipped from Florida to MI for $900.
Check online nationally, find your car and ask the dealer to ship it to you. You can negotiate the shipping price included in your final offer. You can also have a independent company inspect the car for you for $100 and send you a detailed inspection report including a test drive report.

To clarify here: I believe fellow member @chinee meant that since the OP was looking exclusively for a refreshed 2016-2020 model, only the 2016/2017 model year GS's had the luxury package as an option with the wood steering wheel.
For further clarity, the luxury pkg (which includes the glossy wood steering wheel) was an option on 2013 - 2017 model year GS's here in the US.
The ES, GS, and RX all use the same exact steering wheel. If you wanted the wood one you can swap the buttons over to the used wood one and install it in your GS.
Never knew there were so many different steering wheels/colors/wood/leather available for the 4GS. Below is the list that came back on a search for steering wheels for my 2013. A total of 13 different part numbers/OEM steering wheels available:
