This car is brand new to me 2016 GS 450H. Bought it from a small Toyota dealer about a week ago... There is no Lexus Enform App Suite option on the infotainment system.
So I load the app on my phone and try to register my VIN... Error message... Call Lexus Customer Service...
They inform me that Lexus Enform App Suite is only available on 2018 and newer cars?! And yet the Owners Manual talks over and over on how this works. And how to register the car? Is this the case?
Any thoughts on how to fix it?

Just throwing this out there, and I'm not 100% if all hybrids came standard with Navigation. Does your car have the massive 12.3" nav display or the 8" display audio system?

The Lexus brochure for the 2016 shows the Lexus Enform App Suite as a feature.

I had it in my 15 and 17. The dealer registered it for me.
Call support and ask for the enform setup team. Sounds like whoever you talked to didn’t know what they were talking about.

I had the same issue with my preowned GS. I was told that the error was given because the vehicle had been previously registered. I was told that I needed to provide them with proof of ownership.
I've never done that, but it might be a solution for you.

Couple of clarifications for this 2016 GS Enform question. First and foremost is that the end of service will happen
next Halloween, 10/31/2022 when the 3G cellular service will "sunset". This affects all 2017 and older Lexi.
OP is in Washington state, is this a Canadian car? Kilometers and Celsius scales? If so, no Enform for you apparently.
If a USA market car, press the overhead SOS button. The built in voice will say "you don't have service, if you want to
enroll please press the button again within 5 seconds" Do that and follow the prompts to get an operator.
The proof of ownership is needed (what if a bad guy jacked the car and simply pressed the button "hey I just
bought this car...") so have the live operator give you the fax number to send your bill of sale. It will take a
day or two for this to process and then you can try again with the SOS button to connect.
Lexus Safety Connect was complimentary for one (1) year and was $149/year. Subscription fees were reduced
so now the basic SC is $80/year or $8/month. My understanding is that they will only accept month to month on
the pre-2017 models. The Enform Remote Start was first introduced in 2015 on Lexus Sedans w/Nav so you can
opt to pay the additional $8/month, $16/ month total (was $249/year!) for the phone app to work. Be sure you are
downloading and using "The Lexus App" Black Icon w/ Silver Arrowhead Logo and not the Lexus Remote App Blue Icon.
Finally, the Lexus Enform App Suite (not LEAS 2.0) is free, no subscription to any of the above needed. This pre-Apple
Car Play app connects your phone to the native Lexus Navigation. Register in the app, name, e-mail, password and
VIN. Connect by Bluetooth and press the center console Menu and then on screen Lexus App Suite. First time will take
6 or 7 minutes of your life you will never get back while it updates the suite from your phone's 5G connection.
Please write back here on CL if all is going well and we'll get into LEAS, there are a couple threads already for this.
