@Michalooch that part is over $400. eBay will have some used ones like these:
The best price from an OEM dealer will likely be from mylparts.com (using Promo code CL5 for a 10% discount for clublexus members it comes out to $405 before shipping/taxes). It will be the Map Lamp Assembly but you'll need to know which color (yours looks grey from the image you posted) and if you have navigation.
Note: I did this for a 2013 GS but you can provide your specific model year GS350 on the website to see if the price differs:

Try using some white gorilla glue on the tab that is broken. Since it expands, it will help with better hold. Also, it will be able to absorb the vibrations since it expands in to foam like substance.

You do know this is two piece unit? I replaced the front portion since I broken a tab on it when trying to route the wires for my dash cam. I also replaced all the push clips on the map lamp assembly (two white clips and 2 blue clips). Turns out the plastic push clips are worn and caused it to sag.
You probably just need the front piece. The front piece is about $40-50 bucks. And while it's sagging, I would also replace all 4 plastic push clips.
These are listed for a 2013-2015
75631-30110-B0 - without rain sensor gray
75631-30120-B0 - with rain sensor and lane assist gray
75631-30130-B0 - with rain sensor and night view gray
75631-30170-B0 - with rain sensor gray
90467-10161 (2) - white push clips
90467-10167 (2) - blue push clips

Same problem as OP
There's a tab on the right with a 90 degree bend that hooks onto the headliner. On the left side there's a larger tab with a square hole in it that doesn't seem to attach to anything.

I have the same exact problem. The main part of the overhead console snaps in perfect but the front piece won't stay snapped up into the headliner. I bought one on those $100 complete overhead consoles on ebay and it does the same thing. What is the front piece supposed to snap into... or on to?

It doesn't snap it. It's more of a hook. The headliner goes under the 90 bent. Work front to back. Make sure the 90 hooks onto the headliner first thenw your way to the left side. Then work your way towards the back to the main overhead console. It took me bout 30-40 mins to figure how this piece sits flush to the headliner.
