PM22

I broke the clips off the lower half of the air cleaner box and can't find a replacement for less than $400. The dealer wanted $800. So I put on a Takeda cold air intake but want to put back on the stock air cleaner box since I'm selling the car soon. I've been looking online for just the lower half but can't find one. Curious what others have done, besides buying the whole new assembly for $400+.

Your best bet is to go to a wrecking yard or Pick A Part. Used part will be way cheaper for OE.

You can't buy the lower box separately from the dealer, just the entire thing. Use car-parts.com to search junkyards.

Quick search and I found a few listed for $200, There are more listed in the search results. Check with your local junkyard usually they are not going to have the part listed online because it's still on the car.




That dealership is a huge rippoff, they are pricing it few hundred dollars more than the Lexus MSRP. WTF are they quoting 2-3 hours labor on top of the price, lol.
