I haven't done it lately but you can also place a vinyl decal logo on it for a more custom look.

I bought this like the day after I bought my car and still use it to this day. Paired with ceramic tint all around including windshield and having that power sunshade in the rear, the car stays way cooler while protecting the dash as well

I find that the roll-up Intro-Tech is annoying. It doesn't have accordion folds. That makes it more effort to stow when it's not on the windshield. If I bought from them again, I'd get the folding model.

Otherwise it's a good sturdy sun shade.

Get the custom UVS100 Covercraft shades. I just ordered one for my S560. They take about a month to get unless you have a more common car.

I was looking for one a while back too actually since last March but all this time had passed and may be going back to the office so wondering if the sun has already done damage..

What should I be concerned about if my car is always parked in the sun in terms of any deterioration or discoloration aside from the heat build up inside the car..

The GS350 has a Lexus Customer support program for the Dash. Mine does anyway. Its for the Dash melting.

Although it's not the only car that has had this problem.

On my Infiniti I had this this sort of spring loaded one that had wires inside (I think). To fold it you did this weird flip over motion with your hands to make them go down to about a quarter the size they normally were. Once you got the hang of it it was pretty easy. I tended to keep that in the seat back pocket of the passenger seat. I had the accordion style back when I lived in the southwest and that I always kept between the front seat and the console but that wouldn't work with the GS.

EDIT: sorry..just looked back and realized I think you've had it for longer than a couple months... Gotta pay better attention to all the dates of earlier posts

I've had covercraft sunshade for each of my cars for nearly 10 years. ZERO complaints. These things flat out work and are high quality.

The Covercraft does provide the best fit, but it is a thick board blend and it feels like a sheet of thick plywood when folded, so it is a little irritating to fold and store... but you do get used to it. I try to store it in the front passenger footwell, but it's weight often makes it slide left to right continuously, but then again, one does gets used to it.

I ordered this
Amazon Amazon
last week for another car, and I wish the Covercraft was thin and flexible like this but still cut to an exact fit.

I have always kept mine in the rear passenger footwell and never had an issue. If I have rear passengers, it goes on the rear deck or in the trunk.

I do that too, but doesn't it lean on the center hump and prevents the front center console from opening all the way? I store my glasses' and shades' cleaning cloth in there and it gets irritating.
