I realize there are a million threads on this general brake topic but information is a bit all over the place with AWD vs RWD brake pads and rotor kits specifically. My confusion is with the difference if any when I order pads/rotors and when I go online top search various non OEM it specifies for RWD F-Sport but not AWD specific, is there a difference and would it matter if I purchase a RWD specific brake/rotor kit for my AWD?
Ideally I would like to get OEM for both front/rear but can run super expensive, that been said if you fine gents tell me that is the only way to go then I am all in. For example looking at this kit below here it only gives me options for 2WD F-Sport as an example like this from Rock Auto or others.... Rock Auto Brake Kit
Any other recommendations or additional kit parts I would need to order like the OEM shims I keep hearing about?
Thank you
If it were me, I would spring for pads and shims from Lexus. They will give you parts using your vin.
I beleive the rotors for the AWD and RWD (Non F Sport) are the same.
I woud also get the rotors from Lexus if it is in the budget.
I believe the rotors for the AWD and RWD (Non F Sport) are the same.
I don't believe this is true because I often see F-Sport do in fact have different size Rotors from the non F models and is exactly what I am trying to figure out here. Anyone have the OEM part numbers or links to where I can purchase the OEM variety? Thanks!

That's what he said.
RWD F-Sport- larger front rotors.
AWD F-Sport/non-F-Sport- same front rotors

Frankly, if you shop around, the Lexus/Toyota OEM brake parts are not that expensive. I compared the OEM front brake pads to the aftermarket brands, such as Akebonos and Powerstop, and the OEM were actually cheaper in some cases. I bought my front OEM pads from Bell Lexus and paid like 80 bucks for the pads and the shims, shipped. I think the rear ones are around the same price as well. Also, the aftermarket ones are known to cause squeaking, so there is that.
Also, Bell Lexus North Scottsdale runs free shipping from time to time, or will send you 15% off coupon code. I think they run one or the other each month.
Also recommend going the OEM route since AWD F-Sport, AWD non F-Sport and RWD non F-sport have the same brakes and rotors. Parts numbers do fluctuate from year to year but this is what it looked like when I bought the front brakes and rotors from Superstition Springs Lexus online for my 2013:
Take a look at mylparts.com as well with code CL5 for 10% off - as others mentioned, definitely shop around to see who has the best prices.
Thank you everyone for the feedback and guidance. I ended up calling Bell Lexus directly spoke to Jake and not only did he hook me up but got me all the parts I needed with my VIN and also provided additional advice and ended up getting an amazing deal with dealer coupon and free shipping for entire package and out the door for less than $500!
