New Owner (Finally)
Hello. Been wanting a GS for quite some time now... Finally put myself in a position to purchase a good one:
2018 F-Sport AWD
Liquid Platinum/Black
ML, Power Trunk, Cold Weather Package, Nav
I preferred one with Flaxen and possibly the HUD, but given the fact that the car went out of production last year and the current state of used car sales, I was excited to find the one I did at the price I did.
Found it online via CarPilot first. Did everything online (car was at a dealer in Iowa... I live in Maryland). Broker handled the negotiation for me, as I'm admittedly terrible with that part... I know I would've ended up paying like $76k somehow. 34,500 on the odometer and paid ~$38,500 OTD.
Glad to be an actual owner, and not JUST a lurker any longer. That gets old real quick.

Congrats! She's beautiful!
The Liquid Platinum shows off the GS's lines so very well.

I noticed that too, but I also noticed that they don't appear to be OEM wipers. They look very tall and it makes me wonder if they can fit under the edge of the hood or not. I'd get those back to OEM stat.

They are not OEM wiper blades. It's really hard to beat the originals.

Very nice GS there! Trip-LEDs are always nice and AWD means it's non-staggered... very good choice!

Thanks all! LP was my top choice, as it will also hide any dirt for a little while until I can clean her up. AWD (for MD winters) and Triple beams were also non-negotiable. I absolutely love the look, as well as the LED turn signals.
I pulled up on the wipers to clean in the area below and just forgot to pull them down. Thanks for the reminder lol... Also, I'll look into OEM blades. Are they as good as the Rain-X/Bosch/etc offerings? I've been using Rain-X Latitudes for years on the other vehicles, but if the OEM work just as well, I'll make the switch.

Get the OEM wipers... classic, clean, low profile look. I use RainX on the windshield every couple of months or so and it works out great for me. Still on the original blades 3 years later, of course being garage-kept and cleaning the blades every time I wash the car helps as well.
