Online USA dealers, some have at least 35% discounts off the msrp for oem parts. For international sometimes I bought from jp-carparts.com or amayama.com because it cheaper then USA. They ship from Japan and shipping is actually comparable to what I pay in the USA. Obviously larger and heavy stuff are expensive.

My last car a 2008 GS 450H only got what ever 0W20 that was on sale at walmart. Sold it with almost 200K on the clock... never burned oil, never had a problem. Great engine... great car.

This guy blew his GS450h engine by using 0w-20 and redlining it all the time. He now uses 40 weight oil after engine replacement. The engine tear down have shown how burnt and destroyed the pistons were.
remember that with hybrids the engine rev higher for longer when accelerating.
also just remember it’s only the US region that mandates 20 weight oil. All other region user manuals allow weights up to 40 for this engine.

I also saw that video
so now i am very worried about the car..
Car is been driven from time to time in city traffic jam , and with high speed outside the town...
Should i use 0w40 instead of 0w 20 , from my previous experience with cars i can say that 0w20 is like a water.
its Eco friendly oil and it doesnt provide protection it good prius since they doesnt go to red line...
Will 0w40 destroy the engine or make me any troubles?
I live in Europe , in winter we have very cold winter -10 - or -20 degrees celcius in winter, and summer can became very hot 40 degrees celsius, for example

Toyota branded oil but you could really use whatever 0w20 that’s the right specification as stated in the manual.
I only use Toyota branded oil because I spent quite a lot of money on my car so I’d rather just pay a little bit more for oil just for the sake of it (snake oil) though I’m positive whatever would work just as fine.

I heard that Toyota buys oil from Mobil 1 and then adds their own special additives.
In the end, the Toyota formulation is much cheaper than Mobil 1.

I guess I'll have to check Toyota's price on their branded oil vs. Mobil 1. I've been using Mobil 1 0W20 on both my RX & GS since new. Being a former mechanic I don't trust the dealer to change my oil so I've always done it myself.
