Agreed, it must be a low volume part. I have a mental picture of a painted spoiler being the $200-$400 range so the second option looks good. As much as I dont like aftermarket parts, a spoiler is just a painted hunk of plastic so as long as the paint quality is good, the second option seems like it could work. Thanks for the links!

I ordered the second spoiler in the list and man what a mistake. Compared to the OEM one that I recently had experience with, its heavy, and nowhere near the same build or paint finish quality. This one came nicked, scratched and while they advertised an easy no drill installation, there are three bolts on the bottom and no tape. Just a warning and confirmation on the reason why I have vowed to only go with oem parts. My instincts proved me wrong on this one.

You are likely referring to the "lux" spoiler, not the F Sport spoiler. I didnt like the "lux" spoiler and I am looking for the F Sport spoiler (part 7608530091C0) which is $8-900 at the dealer.

I did some research and found that there is essentially one aftermarket F Sport oem style spoiler made by one company, WingTech.

I decided to put some work into the one I had and it came out really nice. I did a compound, polish, touch-up then ground down the high spots from the bolt mount locations on the underside and applied 3M Extreme mounting tape. After measiring with a caliper and the marking location with yellow wax pencil, it stuck on perfectly and it now looks great.

All good, that's why I started this thread, to clear up my confusion! The two things learned are:

1. The oem F Sport spoiler is available but its $850.

2. The aftermarket ones are pretty good but require a bit of finishing and are bolt on unless modified to be mounted with double sided tape. Even if its advertised as a no-drill, it's likely a WingTech which had only part number that is a bolt on design. To be fair, the oem one is a bolt on design as well but can also be modded to be mounted with tape.

PT6113013002. Not sure of the real name but that's what it was called in the thread linked on the second post of this thread and the one in my initial photo.

Used ones are likely to need a full repaint, not worth the time. The aftermarket one I installed looks great after a bit of cutting and polishing.

BTW the first in the list is improperly labeled, its not the F Sport Spoiler.

Gotchya,... yeah I wasn't sure about the first one either... you can get lucky with some of the used pieces though! I've got a few pieces in the past that saved me a ton of time and money...just bolted right on nice! ✌😎
