Default Difference of US Mark Levinson Amp and Canada/Rest of the World ML Amp?

Hi guys

I have a Singapore model 2012 GS which has been imported here in New Zealand. It has the Mark Levinson Sound System, but the amp is faulty.

The part number for the amp is 86280-0WA10. But US models have the part number 86280-0WA00.

I’m trying to figure out what on earth could be different in the amplifier? And if the 2 different models are cross compatible? I.e, can I buy a US amp and put it in my Singapore model GS?

Cheers!

86280-0WA00 AUDIO-17SPEAKER & *MAR & NAVIGATION & SDARS
86280-0WA10 HAWAII SPEC&AUDIO-17SPEAKER & *MAR

Not much to go on, differences because of the nav system? 86280-0WA00 changes up to 86280-0WA01, 86280-0WA10 does not cross to any other part number.

Amp mounted in left side of trunk for right hand drive? So different mounting points/wire connectors? Just a guess🤔

The nav system may slightly differ but I just wonder how would the amp be changed? It's so hard getting a used '01' model, so I'm looking at '00' models in the US but don't want to risk shipping it to New Zealand and then because of some software issue it isn't compatible.

Haha, nah it's on the right hand side, so that shouldn't make a difference... Comparing from the photos, the connectors look exactly the same.

I got in touch with a repair service in China, and their English was horrible so I felt I couldn't ask too many questions, but they did say that it has the same parts. So that's why I think it's a software difference. But again, Why would they not leave that software difference with the head unit and not on the amp?
