Well I'm a little worried the price of these will always remain higher than they should be because of the cancellation. And yea I was also thinking that, if not now then at some point down the line, certain parts that would be specific to this model would be harder to find compared to other models, like the es for example, and thus making it more expensive at the mechanic. But then again I'm not sure if there's a lot of parts that would be specific to the gs or if it shares most parts with other models. And when I say parts I mean like things that would need to be repaired over time like shocks, suspension, control arms, brakes, etc.

GS is definitely, significantly more rare than an ES. Used parts will be much more difficult to find / more pricey as such. But a GS drives so much better than an ES...

A lot of the suspension parts are shared with the IS. I have a 51 year old car. I can still get suspension parts for it.

parts are shared with multiple cars - IS / RC / ES. Parts will not be an issue and should not factor into your buying. Finding a well taken care of used car will give you years of worry free driving.
