Loudest Axle Back
I have a 2014 GS350 F-Sport RWD, wanting to upgrade the Exhaust for sound. Looking to see which Axle Back Exhaust is the loudest. Based in CA, so the exhaust sound still needs to remain under 95 decibels.
I've done some research on Apexi, Tanabe, Joe-Z and Borla, but not sure which would be considered the loudest.
Please provide recommendations and any videos if possible. I've seen some on YouTube.
Thanks in advance!

Although I have nothing of value to offer, I guess I'll be that guy and say it... please don't do it. Enjoy the vehicle as it is. With that said, there have been numerous CL members who have swapped out their exhausts, I'm sure they will chime in soon. Here is a post with a video clip that you may enjoy:

Whatever exhaust you decide to go with make sure it has a brain-shaking, ear-bleeding drone noise.
Why not have an exhaust cutout valve installed?

How will that change the sound? I am completely new to the modding world. Besides me installing a K&N Intake on the car, everything is bone stock.
Please advise.
Thanks!

Don't do it. It's an immature thing to do as it disturbs those who are around you and essentially ruins any luxury character of the car and turns it into modded junk. It also attracts police to you whether you are speeding or not. I've regretted every exhaust mod I've done on cars in the past, stock is always best.

Well, you want loudest? Go with straight pipes. Nothing can be louder than straight pipes... But, if you want grunty sound with no drone inside the cabin? Go with Borla Axle Back. I have it on my GS for over a year now and I love it. Its louder than the stock, with zero drone inside the cabin. And it only gets loud if you go over 2500 rpm, otherwise its pretty tame.

Drop the mufflers and cats, and you'll get loud and obnoxious. Prepare for the noise complaints jk
I like the sound of the Apexi full catback.

Why Axle back and not Cat back?
Usually when one goes for pure volume, the more stock components they remove/replace the more likely they are to achieve their goal.
The major brands that offer systems will all sound nice without being annoying. You've seen the videos to know this.
Anything beyond those - you're better off going to a local exhaust shop and having something custom made. I'd suggest getting a brand name system and running it for a few months to see how you like it (Meraki has great prices and ships fast!). If you don't like it - would be very easy to sell and then you'll have a baseline of how a custom system should be.

Just straight pipe it and come in here and feed off the hate, lmao.
The JoeZ axle back sounds pretty good, throwing in an H pipe will help with the rasp and give you a bit more torque vs the xpipe if you want to mess with that. I have the JoeZ on and it sounds great imo.

Install variable exhaust cutouts and then you can choose how loud you want it to be - and when to silence it.
