Wheel slip light illuminated after shifting into drive
For the first time today I noticed as I shifted out of park and into drive the wheel slip light (orange color on bottom right) illuminated. It went away after a brief moment.
I'm assuming one of the wheels slipped and that was just a warning and that I've got nothing to worry about.
If it matters my car was on a slight steep driveway and the car was parked facing downward the slope.

Yes wheels slip and this happens when traction control does it's job, it's normal.
"If the system indicates your tires may be slipping, the slip indicator flashes to indicate that Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and/or Traction Control (TRAC) are operating in order to regain traction"

I like to give it a little gas on a wet surface just to make the light come on. May be a childish question, but back in the days, in the winter up North, you could fishtail the backend in the parking lots for rear wheel drive cars. Anyone able to do this in the GS? Live in Florida now, so snow not a possibility down here.

The light means your having fun and the car is a parent trying to correct you. I'm familiar with this in the snow and over wet leaves. There is a pedal dance you have to do to fully disable traction and stability control.
