Default Glove compartment door stuck

My glove compartment door won't open. The left side releases but the right side doesn't.
anyone have any suggestions on getting it opened?

Anybody know a way to get it opened? Is there a latch I can trip externally?

It looks like it can be done. I’ll post a pic of the locations in a minute. I thinking you can use something slim. Maybe if you have an old credit card you can trim like a hook to slip in and slide around the latch.
Before you do that have you tried to lock and unlock it with the key a few times?

I tried locking and unlocking with the key. Didn't help.
How does that latch activate? Only the left side unlatches.

I just picked up the car and it was working until I got home and put stuff in it.

Try pushing up on the right side while pressing the button. Removing the weight and tension off that side may free up the mechanism enough so it can slide free and unlock.

I was able to get it open thanks to Lexo98's pictures. If you remove the panel on the right side of the dash, there's an opening that you can stick a pen in to unlatch the glove box door. It's pretty forward, I missed the opening the first time I had the side panel off.

if you have a plastic wedge used for removing trims and bezels for interior of vehicles you can jam it into the spot where the latch is then push on the glove box as you pull on the glove box handle. i think you may have closed the glove box on something and its caught preventing the latch from releasing. good luck.

That sucks. I’d probably take the 80 percent and move on though.
