Question about 22-Inch Wheels & Tires
I have a 5x114,3 22-inch wheel set from my previous car, which I want to fit to my Lexus GS 450h.
They are 9J with a 38mm offset so they should fit.
The problem is getting the correct tire size.
I don't want to go narrower than the current stock tires, which are 235/40R19 front and 265/35R19 rear.
The closest I can get is 235/30R22 front, 4,4%/29mm higher than stock and 265/30R22 rear, 7,4%/50mm higher than stock.
I think the fronts will fit, but I am a little worried the rears might rub, also because my car has DRS..
I do not intend to lower the car.
Ideally the rears should be 265/25R22 (3,5%/23mm higher than stock), but as far as I could find out, this tire size does not exist, at least not in Europe, although I have seen this size mentioned on this forum.
And 285/25R22, which I can get, is too wide for a 9J wheel.
Worst case scenario is to fit the same size front and rear, 235/30R22, but will it look funny?
Any advice would be appreciated.
