i wanted a 2021 accord 2.0T but when i saw the asking price of $38,000 i said no way.

MPGs are not much better in the Accord.

you would have to buy a non-turbo 4 cylinder or a battery driven car. not for me, for now.

the accord 2.0T will be my next car or the mazda 6 turbo, but gas is not much better than the GS.

Yes, I'll just rev to 5k instead of 6.8k redline.

Naturally aspirated sound is worth paying and dying for. Couldn't care less how fast that Tesla is when all you hear is motor whine and tire noise.

If I did replace the GS, it would probably get replace by something even worse in mileage like another AMG.

We all have a chance to lower gas prices.
At the mid terms vote out the Marxist far left dictators and vote in another patriotic American with a brain.
We have already reduced carbon emissions by over 25%. Killing our economy to do more while the major emitters do nothing is pure folly.
I love my (second) LS 460. Gas, oil and one new battery with over 110,000 miles and over 20 mpg in luxury. Who could ask for more?

I haven't put premium in my GS 350 since I bought. It runs great on regular. I just replaced the plugs and they showed no signs of abnormality what so ever.I'll keep my GS 350 till I can't get gas for it.

Interesting. I always thought the car called for premium but if it works and there are no issues, more power to you. Good thread on the comparison between premium and non:

Premium recommendation is very subjective. We run regular (87) in our LX - it's recommended to run at least 91. It's the same engine as the Land Cruiser, Tundra, Sequoia, etc that require 87. That extra cost gets you a couple more HP....that's it. No reason to run premium.

Likewise, the 3.5 V6 is run in many other Toyotas with 87 requirement. Same argument can be made.
