Default Swift Springs or RS-R Downs

I know this thread has been discussed before. I would just like some good feedback from some RWD F-Sport guys that have had both or good knowledge.
I had RS-R half downs on my 3IS f-sport and like them.
what benefit would the Swift have over RS-R downs for a 4GS?? I’d like a mild drop with a little less body roll.

RSR's will be softer. Swift will be stiffer I believe depending which ones they are. I had RSR coils and they rode the best compared to my BC with swift spring upgrade. My BC's with swift spring upgrade are really stiff; I have the gold swift springs which are even stiffer.

Default Lowering Springs not coil overs

thanks for the response but this was in regards to lowering springs not coil overs. RS-R’s actually have a higher spring rate than Swifts as far as lowering springs. You may be correct on the upgraded swift springs for BC coil overs

That's what I was referring to. The rsr springs will be softer than the swift springs. My coils were an example of the ride quality difference you may experience.

Default Spring Rates

How could the RS-R’s be softer with a higher spring rate?

Yes I want to know this too. Because all the feedback so far has said the Swift were closest to Factory and softer the the RS-R's????

Default Spring Rates

Just looking at the specks.
RS-R rear spring rate is 8.67k
Swift rear spring rate is 7.5K
RS-R front rate is 5.15k
Swift front 5.0k

the confusing this is that RSR give a different drop for base and F-Sport where Swift does not. Very confusing.

im leaning towards Swift. Had RSR half downs on my 3IS FSport and was happy but most of the feedback I’m getting is for Swift for a comparable “Half Down”

My mistake, I guess using coils as an example were bad because I assumed since they were same brands then they would be comparable. Please excuse my ignorance lol

No apologies needed friend. Definitely not ignorance at all. It’s a very logical assumption to make. But yes coral overs are a different game than coil springs alone

For those who went the swift springs route, did you adjust your headlights? If so, how many clicks did you have to turn to raise them back up to the correct height?
