Default Lexus GS 4th gen from what material body/chasis of the car is made?

Hi i just wonder since i dont manage to find proper information i read that all of the suspension is made of the aluminium which is quite fragile compared to steel,

is the car body /chasis made from aluminum as well or its steel body? Can someone clarify?
I know that some cars Like audi a8 for example full body is made of aluminium and others cars as well, and repair damage of the aluminium is quite expensive and quite problematic.... i hope someone can clarify about body material of the lexus gs 450h.

It’s made of many different materials. Not sure on what the concern is with the control arms. Have not heard a single problem with it. Also rust resistant.

Cast aluminum machined parts are great, forged even better but doubt there is any of that on your car. Either way your car is anything but fragile if you're into that buy a BMW.

Yeah, it's anything but fragile. The GS is built like a tank!

tanks aren’t generally built that well, contrary to believe. Many of them break down in the battlefield.

But they are heavy duty.

Aluminum, when properly made and used in suspension areas, is a great product, reducing unsprung weight. I'll bet your wheels are aluminum. Unless you hit a really bad pothole, they run for the life of the car with no issues. They aren't soda cans.

Our hoods are aluminum and a lot of the non-reciprocating engine is aluminum.

I know lexus suspension is made from alumunium but, how about the body/ chasis is it only steel or its fully aluminium like audi a8 or jaguar xj?

Fully aluminium car is very light
but extremely hard to repair the body .

It is a unibody steel construction for the major assembly.

Body panels are not aluminum, only the hood.

Only the hood and main suspension arms are aluminum.
The wheels are aluminum alloy.

The new 2017-onwards GA-L chassis used by Toyota Crown JDM, Lexus LC and LS has much more liberal use of aluminum.
