GS 350 (2013) Chrome Ring around Console ****. Part Number?
Hey Everybody,
When I got my GS 350, the chrome ring around the console **** (Eco Mode, Normal, Sport, Sport+) was kind of working its way loose, and sure enough, one day, I put my car into a detail shop or something and they just took it. It's this chrome ring around the base of the **** to make it appear more flush and congruent with the rest of that console surface.
I know its cosmetic but, I still want it back. It has these special teeth, where it will snap into place if I can find one to buy. Do you know where I would need to go to get the part number on this? Or better yet, if there's anyone familiar with this piece, do you know how I can get one? I've enclosed a photo below. Red square around the piece I'm missing. I have the **** of course, but the chrome ring probably got sucked up in a vacuum or something.
OK that eBay part you showed contains nothing I was actually asking for in my thread. It was basically some kind of a mock consult assembly that did not include the chrome ring.
What do you mean? It’s part of the assembly? Do I get that if I buy that package that this guy is selling?
I would be cool with that if it’s not an out rages price… It’s just the photos and stuff didn’t exactly show that
Yes, the trim ring is part of the assembly. You can see how the trim ring's flange fits into the hole. I'd say the price is very reasonable at $100 considering what it is. It wouldn't surprise me if that assembly is 4 or 5 times that much from Lexus. Your other choice is finding the trim ring at a car junk yard somewhere.
