Is anyone using an ALDL or OBD port mechanical lock and can recommend one?
We are having car theft issues in our city with thieves breaking into Toyota & Lexus vehicles and reprogramming for new keys via the port.

A young guy at work with a Tacoma had an attempted theft last night near by.

Remove the data pin or ground pin from the OBD2 PORT

Good idea, or cut the aldl connector off, wire in a different connector and make an adapter back to the aldl for when you need it. Could do it for less than $20.

It's all good until you loose the key. If someone is determined to steal your car they will get it. None of this stops a thief from towing your car.
