2014 GS350 Twitchy at highway speeds
Just did a 400km drive and noticed that the GS was pretty twitchy (constant steering input was required on straight and windy roads and felt like it was over correcting) at 100-110km/h speeds and it wasn’t just me, 2 other drivers on the same road trip noticed the same.

All 3 of us driving the same car on the same road. Wind was noticeable but not like the entire trip was windy but the steering input required was pretty much the same… constant correction

I used to have this issue, changing to the stiffer GS-F lca bushings completely fixed it(it could also be just the old lca bushings were worn).

I also found it helped made the chassis feel alot more planted in turns which I believe is due to the old softer bushings absorbing energy when first loading up the suspension at turn in and then rebounding mid corner causing a soft cushiony feeling. In windy conditions, that feeling will also cause you to constantly apply steering inputs to correct for it.

Check your tire pressure. If it gets too high it will get twitchy. Remember as your drive your tires build pressure from the heat. See if that doesn't fix your issue. On the 18 inch wheels the standard pressure is 33psi, I put 34 PSI.

35 Front and 36 Rear for RWD FSport. I put 36/37 cold PSI on mine and they go up to 39/40 when hot.

Took it to the Lexus dealer and they carried out an alignment and re-calibrated the YAW RATE and VGRS SYSTEM.Just did a 50km highway run and the car did feel a lot more stable and required less steering correction. Not sure if it was related to the alignment or the fact they re-calibrated the YAW RATE and VGRS SYSTEM.
Think I will run like this for a while and monitor

I did the bushing upgrade and it made things feel better, but did not eliminate the issue. Worth the upgrade as my original bushings were pretty tired and I feel the improvement in the steerability. But still wandering and needing constant adjustments to keep her in the lane.

I had this same issue but luckily had a warranty through carmax. Still in the shop but so far they diagnosed it down to a bad driver side strut and the steering gearbox. I’ll keep updated and list everything they did once it’s finally corrected
Edit: Carmax ended up swapping my whole steering rack and “steering gear torque sensor” Car works perfectly now

I had the same issue
I owned a 2015 AWD and had the same issue. After about a year after the purchase from Carvana (in 2018) the car began to dart while driving highway speeds. I attempted all the things that was listed by others, but nothing seem to work. I took it to the dealer and they could not replicate the issue. It was reported to Lexus.
I recently traded it back to Carvana for a 2018 RWD. It is truly hard to find a GS for sale n the US these days. I am hoping there are no issues with this one.
