Only had my '13 F Sport for a short time and I've been testing it out (harder acceleration and going faster than I normally would), was thinking I'd be below 20mpg but so far getting around 23mpg with mostly street driving (no freeways on Maui LOL).

FYI not talking about what the dashboard function is telling me, I'm calculating it off the trip.

Doesn’t Hawaii have an ‘Interstate’ Highway? I’ve put just a lil over 1,000 miles on my ‘15 GSF and the lowest I’ve gotten was 24 mpg. Haven’t had a sustained freeway trip yet. Most of my driving is in the foothills or in the Sierras.

Maui doesn't have much in the way of high speed roadways. You are thinking of the little bit that is on Oahu around Honolulu and Pearl Harbor.

I drove from Chicago to Cleveland, filled up, reset my average mpg's and got 22.6.

It seems a little low to me. I figured I'd get closer to 24-25 on the highway.

My last fill up, the display is showing 21.2 MPG but the actual MPG is 21.8, so it was pretty close

26 MPG in town, 26-28 MPG on the highway. Consistent over the last ten years.

2013 AWD, getting high 14s mpg to low 17s in the city depending on how much stop and go traffic and waiting in drive throughs. Get 22-24 mpg highway. Once I got 27.5 highway but I was on cruise control and going down a big mountain.

OK cool guys seems I'm doing about average.

Anyone on here risking it with 87 octane or are we all premium?

I am only using 93 octane premium but I live in TX where its cheap (about $3.40/gall). Manual says 91 octane minimum. With 87 you get less hp and it might cause engine knocking which is not great for an engine over the long term but I'm pretty sure the ECU software can retard knocking, but it's not something worth risking to me. Also from what I've read from other users using 87, they get 1-2 mpg less both city/highway. You might be able to get away with 89.

Cold weather can also reduce your mileage up from 15-25%. It finally got cold in TX recently so that's prob why my city mpg is not good.

Did a 1700+ mile drive to Wyoming doing about 70-80 with the AC blasting the entire time.

Wow that’s epic. Have you been checking against your odo? Mine is always telling me slightly lower mileage than I’m actually getting when I do my math. Maybe you’re doing even.better!!!
