Imo, this looks really bad. That gap between the hood and bumper! When I first saw it I assumed the car was in an accident and the bumper was replaced with a 16+. The paint doesn't even match
@greys0uled agreed 100% - the gap and the fitment on the eBay bumper is going to be a challenge. Every one i've seen has extra space between the hood/upper chrome grille surround where the rubber seal meets. The way around it visually may be to do the chrome-delete on the grille surround like the one in this youtube vid (33 sec mark gives you the best view of the spacing/hood/grille):

Appears they did not mould the grating up far enough, and the top chrome grill is U shaped down to low to match the hood U shape. I really wonder though if it was not pointed out so much in all these threads if it would be noticed so much? Especially on like a Black GS where everything matches Black car Black in Grill?

I think its hit or miss and likely a job for a good body shop. Not sure if you saw this one, but another member had posted about it here and the gap wasn't as noticeable on his white GS: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post10666935

Yep thanks. I did see that one researching too see if I get it myself. That's not that bad. I am also trying the ask the seller if they did any revision for fit because the info we see on those is 1-2 years old.

I'm also wondering why everyone just about, had a Body shop install? I was going to hopefully do myself but IDK if I will get it matched as bet as can be by myself? Maybe due to Painting? But I was going to just have it Wrapped color Matched to my Black GS, not painted so it would be protected too.

That thing looks weird and good at the same time. The headlights really changed everything.

That gap is horrible. Makes it look cheap and unfinished.

Agreed - the revised headlamps on the 2016+ esp the triple beams really give the GS a mean look up front. I do think the older triple beams with an upgraded bumper conversion looks great too...

Aimgain conversion bumper with older Triple Beam headlamps:

If Aimgain made a plastic bumper that was $1000-1200 that would be a win. The Aimgain looks so much better that the eBay trash.

Ok now we are comparing a $779 Bumper to a $2400 one? lol!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/293105348578

I am really leaning towards another direction (def not the $2400 one), about the Ebay bumper.

Again I think if this was Not the 4th Gen GS Forum, and the Ebay bumper was matched up as well as the White GS one below. If the car was Black and the Chrome Trim was Black. I don't think 95% of people would notice the gap at all. Now I am Not saying it would be acceptable to me.

Being different as I am sometimes for better or worst, I actually don't like the Aimgain one personally. It's something about the bottom air cut outs. They are too large, and I don't like the extra step up cut in the bottom air holes, nor where the little Fog lamp is mounted. Just my opinion. I also wonder if the Autonation car on the previous page is the same car the Guy in the other Thread got the Ebay bumper and put on? Its Silver too, and a F Sport. Did he get rid of it, and that's it?

I think the newest eBay 1 is little different than the previous version. Haven’t really looked into the gap though

I read somewhere that the tacoma grille moulding will fit that bumper and fill in the gap.
I'll try to find that thread and post it here when I find it.

Think I found out something. So this maybe the Original one from China? Seems it fit much better than the other. I think? I messaged them but they claimed they are not affiliated with the ebay seller. So they say anyway. Maybe the ebay seller copied the China copy, but IDK? Each copy Mold made would start to be a little more off fit. Just a guess. seems this one out of China fits much better than the Ebay one????????

At $900 for shipping I wont be buying this one from China either.
