I'll try to find that thread and post it here when I find it.
I remember that post...another member @BUZY3215 bought an authentic Aimgain '16 conversion bumper and used the Tacoma weatherstrip/rubber: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post10435919

It seems like the eBay bumper is essentially a knock-off of the Aimgain.

Ok what's going on here?

In the link pics above, it shows this as The Aimgain one?

Then post # 12 in this thread now Charcos916 said this is his Aimgain Bumper.

Now in this same thread we are in on Post # 23 it shows this is the Aimgain.

Did Aimgain change the Bumper?

Fellow member Charcos916 has the Espirit bumper: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...placement.html

I think he was just trying to give you an idea of another option for a pre-refresh conversion other than eBay / Aimgain. Those other two images in your post above are indeed the Aimgain conversion bumper.

I think there are a few options since you have a '13 Lux:

-Simplest upgrade is F-sport grille inserts for your lux bumper:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ml#post8748680

-Get an F-Sport bumper w/new grille inserts:
http://blog.tourspecgolf.com/wp-cont...G_2770_HDR.jpg

-Get a 2016 F-Sport bumper and have a body shop modify it to fit your existing 2013 headlamps:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post10594585
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post10597069

-eBay conversion bumper and hope fitment is good
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post11000944

-Espirit conversion bumper

-Aimgain conversion bumper

Did Aimgain change the Bumper?

My bumper “charcos916” isn’t a aimgain bumper it’s esprit’s brand along with the front lip. The center grill is a oem stock grill and the emblem is the the stock emblem that came with the car. To get it to fit had to cut the air vents down bottom. The fog lights from the 2014 lexus also just plugged rite in. I had the center painted gloss black and the trim vinyl wrapped flat black.

Default Help Opinions?

So...... should I go ahead and get this one below and make it try to fit? I think I can get it Tweaked enough to work without looking getto. I think? If it dont work (hood gap), I will just return and get my money back.

Or save the money and just get a lip (pic below), and spend a little extra to get the Round Triple LED headlight with this below, and maybe do the 2013 - 2015 GS F Sport Grills?

Give me some thoughts and why please? Thanks!!!! I just can't decide.

I think it depends on your budget...

eBay:
The ebay bumper is basically $1000 and needs to be painted and installed. Thus you're looking at at least $1300+. With your tails and 2016 wheels, you'll have a prefresh GS that looks a lot like a newer 2016!

Keeping existing bumper:
Getting the upper/lower f-sport grilles will cost anywhere between $200-$450 depending on OEM or aftermarket. Aftermarket eBay lips are cheap and many are available for the lux bumper (add $100; https://www.ebay.com/itm/363656994212). If you get OEM triple LEDs, those will be the most expensive at least $2000+ (https://www.ebay.com/itm/144364841344)

Seems like you want to have the 2016 look so i'd say go for the eBay bumper and if that doesn't work out, hopefully you can return it and then work with what you have.

Well that's one thought. So I was going to get the $779 one. Have it wrapped not painted so it would last longer without the paint chipping. Then add my own 55-65 Watt Fog lamps so more light. Maybe even reuse my 13 Lux ones
https://www.ebay.com/itm/293105348578

You were thinking kinda the same as I was on the 13 - 15 Bumper Mod. I even looked at getting a 13 - 15 F Sport Bumper. But that would add up. If I keep my 13 - 15 Lux Bumper you are correct. That seems to add just as much or more with the Grills and front Spoiler.

What I was kinda more asking was which looks better? To me the 13 Lux with the lower spoiler does not look so bad at all and really changed the appearance to me. The 13 - 15 Triple LED's are likely a look out search for over time until I see them at the right price. Junkyard or Ebay, or maybe even broken tabs I can repair at a cheaper cost. Thanks!!!!!

My honest opinion, the 2016+ GS front bumper looks good overall, but sometimes bulges out a bit from certain angles and looks bulbous - it was made more prominent with the updated grille. From the few images we've seen, the eBay bumper seems to exacerbate that bumper proportion a bit when you put it on the '13-'15 models.

Here's a member who simply added an Aimgain lip on a pre-refresh lux bumper: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ml#post9885748

I'd say spend the money to dress up the existing front end you have (f-sport grilles, front lip) which will be substantially cheaper. Its surprising how much difference even just a front lip makes. If you're not satisfied, at least you only spent a few hundred bucks and...at that point you can consider the eBay bumper.

*Edit: Here is a member with a lux bumper but he added f-sport grilles, and an l-style ebay lip:

@jgscott what did you decide to do??

I found a few more members that converted to the eBay bumper:

Well just yesterday from another thread I tracked that one down you just gave me the links to also. Just today my friend told me he bought the ebay one for his 15 F Sport. So I decided to hold off and see how his goes, fit wise. I also wonder if there was a bad run on the ones that had fit problems, and/or if they revised it to improve it? Based on the link you just attached, seems the white one and sliver one, they did not have the fit problem at all. I did not see that hood to bumper trim gap at all? What did you think?

So if my friend here trys and it works now I am going to decide if to buy his F Sport Black already like my car, and add the fogs and lower lip. I still think the 13 - 15 F Sport one looks pretty good IMO. But so does the Lux modded. So IDK? The other delima is if I decide to get the ebay one, will there be any in stock still by that time. Funny as it is, everyone who is not real familiar with the model years and does not own a GS kinda likes the Modded F Sport one best. when I show them and ask which? I wish I could find the Orange Ebay one with a picture on a Black on a Black car. Something tells me it looks different nice!

Hey thanks for all the help and links you always give to me and everyone else here. Always appreciate you reaching out and the stuff you find is so valuable!!!!!! Here is a pic of the 13-15 Stock F Sport modded up with the LED heads and expensive lip. I just keep feeling like one day those Triple LED Headlights are going to follow me home and sit at my doorstep in a Box, and me minus $2k - $2.5k.

Can anyone Photoshop this Orange one below to be a Black car??
