Default 2013 GS trans slippage

Hello,

I have a 2013 GS F-sport AWD with abut 114k miles. Ive been feeling some shaking when driving at slow speeds between 2100 and 2600rpm. I took a ride with a buddy of mine and he believes its a transmission slippage issue between 2nd and 3rd gear, anyone else have this issue?

I have the same car; the transmission is fine. The Aisin 6 speed transmissions are very good and are long lasting. Has your car had transmission services? Good luck and please keep us posted.

I once thought I had a noise changing gear, turns out it was a combination of totally worn rear suspension and the sunroof seal. Does it only happen when you change gears?

I was experiencing what I though was transmission slippage at low speeds and reversing or moving out of park. Turns out my parking brake was completely unassembled. It is a drum-like setup in the rear wheels. I would check that out because like mentioned above these transmissions are bulletproof. I have 240k miles on 2013 awd.

I'm no expert, but I had this issue with my 2012 Camry. It was a "shudder" kind of feeling and ended up being a torque converter. There could be absolutely nothing wrong with your car, but also couldn't hurt to get it checked out. A TC would assumably be much less than a transmission if that's the case.
