Are these Genuine? I could be wrong. Maybe different part of the world uses part number specific for those area? I was just watching counterfeit parts from the Car Care Nut and he pointed out the 2GR and the AR series engine don't use the same filter.

We don’t have the economy line YZZ filters as they are for the American market.
They are expensive - converting to US dollars will be $20 each.
The carcarenut is not entirely right in his explanation. I change oil with the same filter on the AR and GR engines.

My dealer used 04152-YZZA3 for my last oil change. The A1 & A3 are the same filter cartridge, just A3 box doesn't come with filter drain plug and smaller o ring. My 14 has the metal cartridge with removable drain plug, but the dealer techs don't bother with it. I'm not sure which model year they changed to plastic no drain hole cartridges.

yes they are from my local Lexus dealer and Toyota/Lexus corporate only buy from Japan here - likewise all our Lexus and Toyota are made in Japan.

Here's what I found simply by searching lexuspartsnow and fiddling with the "Check Fit" tool. It looks like the differentiator is the transmission. Where to buy them? Looks like I'll be defaulting to the dealer.
