There is some settings and stuff to do to get it straight. peasodos know all the info on it. He was the original one to use it.

Bullets Garage did a vid. I think its the same, unless I'm mistaken?

That looks easy enough and that is plug and play, no need to splice any wires. I'll look into it after I get my brake pads replaced. The front ones are running thin already.

I didn't ask the guy but I bet its more than the Carlinkit since its only sold thru dealers and dealer installed. Wouldn't surprise me if they ask $600-$700 for the unit and $350 to install (the guy quoted me $350 to install GROM). I'll call the store Monday and see how much. it is.

The Carlinkit unit is around $300, 100% markup doesn't surprise me, for a pro to install it should only take 30 minutes, an hour max if he's handicap, but billing it as a 3 hour job, lol.

Sold thru what dealers? Lexus dealers? Or aftermarket alarm installers/dealers?

After market audio shop. They have really good reviews on Google (4.9/5 on 405 reviews) so that's prob why they charge a premium prices.

Could be, that thread took a life of it's own, A lot of non GS people posted that they installed it.

Only if it works good but from what I've seen in bullet garage videos, it's glitching already. Are they all like that?

In the Vid below, at 11:32 on. Have you changed this Setting for the Mouse to: Remote Lever? Seems when he did, all the Touch Mouse pad problems were fixed.

I got the ZZ2 IT3-LEX15 installed in my 2015 GS350 F Sport for $1000 at an audio shop. It works well for Apple Maps, Youtube Music and the Sirius XM app. I was pleasantly surprised that it just works without taking the phone out of my pocket. It only uses the left 2/3 of the display, which is fine because I can see what is playing on audio on the right side while Apple Maps are being displayed. The only downside is that the joystick is temperamental, it moves through the onscreen choices in unpredictable ways. So I give most of my instructions to Siri and she does the rest.

All in all, a major improvement over the various phone holders I had tried.
