17" winter wheels on 2017 GS 350 AWD executive package equipped with 19" wheels
All,
I am new to the forum and need some help.
I am looking to purchase a 2017 GS 350 AWD with Executive package in Canada. I'm not sure if executive package is available in the US. Same package might be called "Ultra Luxury" in the US. Please correct me if I am wrong.
The car I am looking to purchase comes equipped with 19" wheels. I will be trading in my 2017 ES 350 and will keep my winter wheelset, which is 17".
I need to know if my winter wheels at 17" will fit on the GS AWD I am looking to purchase. I'm concerned about brake clearance. Dealer has no clue.
Any help or insight would be much appreciated.
BTW, I went to test drive the GS today....way more f'in fun than my ES...I was flooring it the whole test drive...the salesperson was choked...asked me to take it easy...he was ****tin his pants...lol
For reference, I posted some pics of the car below.
Thanks all I don't have a close up of the front wheels to see the brake clearance. But those are the oem/factory 19" wheels that come with the car. Need to know if 17" wheels will fit for winter wheelset
You will likely have caliper clearing issues on the front if you use a 17" wheel from the ES. Also, most 17" wheels for the ES aren't as wide (OEM 17" ES wheels are usually 7" wide ... OEM GS wheels are all at least 7.5" wide). A good local wheel shop wheel be able to confirm for you but you may need spacers if you can clear the front caliper.
