Along those lines - it may be possible to add a factory hud or wheel button and just wire it to a relay to turn the fogs on/off.

The heated wheel control panel is one piece. If I could find a used one with HUD, that could be a possibility. There's also a spot under the dash where the ASC (or something, I don't remember) that could work. Whatever option it is, I don't have it. It's next to the TPMS reset button. It's smaller than the normal Toyota cutout but could work.
