F Sport: Quiet Tires?

Got the Michelins at Discount Tire. I was impressed with the customer service, efficiency and the care they took of the wheels while doing the job. And they use torque wrenches!
Paid about $1,400, road hazard included, a little pricey but not bad if they last 3 years plus.

Got the Continental DSW 06 Plus tires put on the car today. They're not silent, but they're VERY quiet, even at 80.
I can't recommend them quite yet, because they could end up sucking, but looks to be a good buy so far.

The Contis do get some love on the forum so I’m sure you’ll be happy with them. I might have considered them but they weren’t available in the staggered setup, IIRC. Keep us updated on their performance.

Sounds good. I'm surprised they don't have a 265 (or whatever it is) for the rears. Still a bit cold out to test them on some curves, but soon enough

Ive had the Good Year eagle exhilarates and they've been pretty good, I honestly don't remember the noise level of my PS4 and AS3+ to compare, but these good years don't sound too loud to me. I slightly remember the PS4 being very loud once they are under 4/32.
Bought good year set in March 2021, 114k miles , rotated side to side at 128k
Bought 2 rears in October 2021 138k miles Got 24k miles out of the rears, they are 500 thread wear.
Now after my last service in March 2022 150k , dealer says they are all at to 7/32. Overall pretty happy with them, located in San Jose also so no snow and barely see rain.
I was looking at the americas tire website because I wanted continentals Extreme contact next, but the quiet rating is only 3.5 compared to 4.5 of the good years. Not sure how accurate those ratings are but the PS4 and AS4 are also 3.5 on the quiet scale and comfort scale compared to good years 3.0 comfort scale.
With the AS4 being 540 thread wear would it be noisier than the good years?

My old Yokohama Advan Sport A/S got me 40k miles without rotation. Replaced two fronts with some Kumhos from Tire Rack and they drive well in the rain so I'm not complaining either. Some ppl swear by Michelin or Pirelli all seasons. It's all a matter of preference and how much do you want to spend on tires.

I currently have PS4S on my RC F and they are not too loud unless I take it on my local highways which happens often, which all have crappy broken up concrete and it's annoyingly loud lol
If these tires do well on those roads, that's awesome

I have Vredestein Quatrac Pro tires. They seem quiet, handle well, and are comfortable. They made it up my uphill driveway in a few inches of snow. My Forester XT got stuck on the same driveway previously. I've had the tires for about 10k miles and are wearing evenly. Also like the that they are not directional and can be rotated.
I do like the Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires. We have them on our RX350 and they are smooth and quiet. They sure don't look that way.

This simple post helped me to choose a new pair of tires for rear wheels after searching and reading reviews online.
Finally i selected
Michelin Pilot Sport 5 : 275/35/19
1 cm wider and little more sidewall vs OEM size (previous tires were Pilot Super sport)
Result: Smooth, Quiet, Nice cornering, Stable
Worth it. 630 USD including change and balance
Tires are made in Spain

Right now, I have a set of Firestone Firehawk AS's on my 2013 AWD F Sport. These were put on by the previous owner and are practically new, but I can't stand them. There's vibration at 60+ and they're annoyingly loud.
I know what the GS is, and what the F Sport package is about too. Large, wide tires. It's a sport luxury car, and I don't expect it to be whisper quiet like an ES or LS, but it's still a Lexus sedan.
Does anyone have any suggestions for quiet tires that are decent in the snow (I live in the Ohio snowbelt). So far, I've got sights on the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus, but I'd like to hear from you guys before I drop $1200 on new shoes.
Thanks!

got some Michelin pilot sport all season about a yr ago & they're super quite & smooth ride. They replaced toyo proxy sport & I can tell a difference. The only thing i liked better is the look of the the toyos they were low profile & the Michelin aren't. I went to a reputable 'mom&pops' tire shop - paid about $1400 w alignment .So much cheaper than a 'Mr tire' or Firestone.stype sport.
