@JeffKeryk Always wanted a MityVac but by the time I was serious considering it, our commutes shortened and the oil change frequency did not justify yet another garage tool/toy.
But does it really get all of the oil out? I always suspected that there will be some amount that the hose can't get to, and you'll have to drain the last couple of ounces out anyway.
BTW... what happened to the images? I can't view them anymore.

I am not sure what happened to the images... Must be permission. I will look into this.
The MityVac is really good on the cars I have used it on; our GS, several Hondas and Toyotas, and a 2015 Altima 4 banger. I have heard the tube will not make it to the bottom some oil pans.
You kinda fish around, poking to get to the pan properly. After it sucks air, fish around a little more and you will get more oil out. I use the dip stick as a measuring stick; how deep the tub should go.
On the GS, I MityVac'ed out the oil, then raised the car and pulled the drain plug. I even lifted one side a little more to position the drain at an optimum spot. A dealership will never go to this length. Adter 10 minutes or more, the amount of oil did not even cover the bottom of my oil pan.
IMO, the missed oil is a big fat nothing.
I used to be a naysayer; now I love my MityVac. So clean, so easy. So quick. I use it on brake master reservoirs. I attach it to the return hose on power steering reservoirs to service the P/S. Highly recommended.
Here is a pic of the oil drain pan; I hope you can see it.
Just availability in Advance Auto. But with that said, here's some feedback I posted on BITOG re: the filter:
I googled the filter part# and looked at the replacement part guides in the store aisle and they both reflected the filters I bought... then I went to the counter and apparently there's 2 filters for this engines... a longer one for the AWD model and a shorter one for RWD... only the longer filter appears as the default replacement in searches. Since then, going to Lexus dealers websites, using the VIN returns the correct filter #, so knee jerk reaction... I bought 5 of 'em.
I'm cheap. I bought the same filter from the Toyota dealer.
