Default Oops…

I installed LED puddle light bulbs tonight. They look great!

Pro tip. When putting the glass back on, don’t press on the sides. As an engineer, it’s not my proudest moment haha. 2013 F-Sport. This is heated with BSM. Where can I get another one? Would you guys suggest OEM? I’m finding a lot of questionable solutions out there.

That glass costs the same as the whole car.

Try eBay maybe? I would get OEM for sure. The GS doesn't deserve anything less than OEM parts!

That looks to be pretty bright! Brighter than I would personally care to have.

Did you test the light output of the new bulbs before installing them to see if it met your needs? Did you realize the change would produce such an increase in lumen output?

Well, from Lexus and most any OEM part is around $400 for the glass. SMH.

I knew they’d be bright. So far, I like them. In person, it’s not too bright to be cheesy looking.

Oh that Sucks. I think at one time you could buy just the Mirror glass and replace on some cars. Don't know about the GS?

The glass alone with auto dim and heat is $200. Used.

$200 is not bad for OEM glass as long as it's in good shape. GS parts aren't cheap unfortunately. My head unit went bad and costed $7K for a brand new one, good thing it was still under warranty.

My brake pads cost almost $200 for parts only. Yeah I got robbed on this one.

I've seen some pretty expensive stuff on this car. This one is just annoyingly expensive. I get it, the car is made up of expensive stuff, but seriously a piece of glass with a light and heating element. smfh.

I’ll be honest, I’m a little nervous to put the replacement on because of how expensive it was. Which vanity lights are you talking about?
