Thanks, I see it now. I was hoping the top leather part was a snap on skin to the sub-assembly that needs to be unscrewed. I'll hold off on that one, that thread is terrifying but incredibly useful for various other smaller jobs.

I think I have my answer on the stitching. It's all blue and the sales code URL10 on the parts diagram indicates GS-F / alcantara.
