Question BBS or Volk wheels on 18 GS 350-Fsport

I'm getting a new set of wheels for my GS-350 Fsport. My OEM wheels are mostly bent because the North sucks in the winter. My budget is around the $3000-4000$ mark.

I really like/want to get some RC-F or even GS-F wheels since they are apparently made by BBS+Forged. They are incredibly good-looking but hard to find it seems, my Lexus dealers don't have them in stock or in backorder.

I see that RR-racing has really good prices on sets of BBS or even Volks. Does anyone know of any better offers at a different site? I don't do too much "sporty" driving or tracking on my base GS-350, I just want better protection for these potholes. From what I've researched, BBS are stronger when it comes to potholes but are slightly heavier compared to something like the Volk Te37.

My car is currently at the workshop, I'll post pics once my wheels come in.
Thanks, everyone

You are just as likely to bend an expensive 1 piece forged wheel, and if you are not doing performance driving, the reduced unsprung rotating mass will be of little benefit to you. All you will be doing is increasing your replacement cost the next time you bend a wheel on a pothole..

Better protection from potholes can be had by going down to an 18" wheel with a taller sidewall, but I know that is an unpalatable prospect for many.

I really like the TE37 but I don't know if it will look good on the 4-door GS. They look sick on an R34 GTR though.

Honestly 18" might be the way to go. Maybe some thicker rubber along with it. Currently I have stock Michelin. Any wheel brands you recommend? I see lots of vossen on CL threads.

Clean look! Those are CH-Rs 20''? Any issues with potholes? I don't need forged wheels if potholes are not an issue for you.

I have 3 piece volks on mine. The nice thing about 3 piece wheels is that if you bend them you can have them bent back into round, or just replace the out lip or inner barrel for pretty cheap.

Yeah CH-r in 20x9 squared. Orange County roads, our annual registration might be higher, but pot holes are few and far in between.

Just ordered a set of TE37 19x8.5. They are arriving within a week or so. I will post pics when they come in! Excited. Probably should get new tires on these babies! Any recommendation for bigger sidewalls? Mine is an AWD so it has lots of gaps.
