Just thought I would share. Looks, much, much better in person. Honestly, if you did not have a GS you might not know. I'm sure there are others that have also.

I've considered doing something like this. But, was concerned once I make the cuts, there's no going back. I think I like it. Especially with the fact it's $1k cheaper than getting the diffuser which is compatible with quad tips.
I hesitated due to general negativity of comments of others cars here. That's Not my car. When I 1st saw it I wondered what Diffuser it was? As long as I've had my GS I didn't even realize at 1st that it was a cut in. Again it looks better in person than the pics. I cant explain why being that I disclosed it up front tends to have you focus on it more so. Sorry I forgot about the HUD and took such a bad shot.

I am thinking, I can pop the chrome muffler tips on the diffuser out and cut a small portion to fit some quad burnt tips on there. Or possibly, black out the chrome muffler tips and then cut accordingly to fit the quad tips.

imo quad tips is borderline rice because your basically faking a V8 or making it appear your car has much more power than stock.
Do it right and don't cut corners or u will regret it later.
IMO Quad tips on a Lexus, it's a wannabe BMW thing. Not GS Lexus like. Lots are are into it. Me not so much.
The above diffuser with those gaudy Fins just does not blend with the 4th Gen GS. It looks like a Ebay way over priced Fiberglass aero body kit and cheap looking.

Lots of non 8 have quad tips from factory: WRX, CamryXSE, 3rd gen Acura TL type S.
I agree that using the OEM diffuser doesnt match this particular mod. The quad tip is on my list things to do, just cant justify paying 1k for a diffuser and tips at the moment.

i wouldn’t mind running a 450h rear diffuser and pointing the exhaust outlet down, it would give the rear a cleaner look. Anyone have one for sale?
any idea what the difference is between the fsport and non fsport rear diffuser?
