I highly recommend the upsized tire for pothole protection and slightly better ride quality. Also note at 80 mph on the instrument cluster your actually going 81 mph. It's not an issue at all otherwise.
Just FYI, if you check the speedo on the GS with the stock 235, it was off also. I just like that it also slows down racking up miles on the Odometer a little bit.

I have been a Michelin only guy or 20 plus years. The P7 is better than the Michelin IMO. What I was saying about the grip issue was the 234 vs 245, no matter the tire brand, especially on my ES350 FWD.

Michelin is not what they use too be. They were out extremely fast. Its known consensus of many all over the internet. Also about changing the drive ratio, little lose on top, but you can actually feel the gain up top when they get going. Funny as it is, most other cars like Audi, BMW, and MB run the 245/45/18 on their same size weight cars and their cars handle very well. I always wonder why Lexus choose 235? Must be some reason, but IDK why?

You are running the all seasons and maybe comparing to them. I have no base of comparison on all season tires but on max performance summer, Michelin PS4S are currently the winner in every category (except cold weather lol).

What are you comparing the speedo to?

3 different very accurate known phone GPS apps. Set on Cruise on a flat road. What else can you use? My ES350 U/L with 18" stock wheels and Lexus spec tire size was off as much as 4mph +/- sometimes at certain speeds.

I don't know, I've never done it before, what are the names of the apps? I'm curious now.

Yes where I am can get down to 11 degrees sometimes in Atlanta. Looks like you are in Fl so different story. Yes not apples to apples. I have had my share of Ultra High performance tires on High performance cars. The PS4 is like a 15k - 20k only 5/32's left. The other rub was that when they wore past 6/32's they were not so great in the wet. I had those tire on my GS350 Brand new when I got it and was then driving more, in a year and a half they were down to 4/32's, rotated and balanced and alighted constantly. I am not for spending $1200 that fast again and again anymore.

For a 400hp car on up = The PS4. On the Street best all around = P7 Plus 3. IMO.

The GPS I use to measure speeds are the Dragy GPS Performance Meter unit (uses high speed GPS satellites to accurately measure your vehicles performance within 1/100th of a second.) The iPhone apps are Speed Box, and Speedometer. Like Speedometer best.

Yeah they don't last very long. I bought this set a little over two years ago so I'll get 2.5 years out of them which seems reasonable but I definitely haven't driven over 20,000 miles. When comparing to tires that offer similar grip they still perform well in that category but definitely not compared to an all season. The overall feel is fantastic and really helped to get the feel I was looking for on a non F-Sport suspension setup. Also they look great so I see it as a visual mod too.
