Thanks for posting this, I never thought twice about the wheel but....I read through it and now many $$$ later I have a custom wheel on the way from Elvin....

It's something like the below, same diameter as stock though. A combo of a piano black flat bottom, smooth Napa leather and black alcantara top. No CF since I wanted fairly stock look.

I'll post up some photos once it's done since I havent seen anyone with a 2016+ design on the forums here. The below are the 2012-2015 4GS design.

Oh how I like that non CF wheel. I may be following next to get one like that that matches the Expresso almost dark Black wood in my Lux car. Can't wait to see it. I hate that big stock wheel.

Here's how it came out, it's many shades of black. I have a few alcantara GS-F parts on the way to match. I'll get it in next week and provide an update.

Yeah, CF only goes well with F cars with matching CF interior pieces. It looks out of place in our 350 with aluminum interior pieces, unless u add fake CF covers.

Exactly, it needs to tie in. My trim is either piano black on the door controls and part of the center console and a piano black but with some grey lines elsewhere, so the wheel should match well. I am installing the GS-F black alcantara center console armrest and remote touch wrist rest as well as the alcantara instrument panel trim piece from the GS-F. The instrument panel trim has blue stitching so I'll need to figure out how to tie it all in.

You don't make U turns, left and right degree turns and turn in parking spaces in and out on a Oval track. They also don't have power steering do they?

Its not just opinion, its personal preference. No two MLB hitters really use the same exact Bat nowadays, even though a Bat is a Bat for the same purpose when they come to the plate. Golfers Clubs the same. Saving Razors, and the list goes on and on. I have no problem with anyone who likes the GS big wheel. I would prefer as I said, 1/2 - 3/4 smaller diameter. That decreased size requires slightly more effort but rewards with more feel. There is a reason Semi Trucks have such large wheels. Most have not driven other cars in the GS class to know that 99% of them also have a smaller diameter wheel that the GS has.

I would love to have this wheel in matching my interior Black with the Dark Linear Expresso Wood in my cars interior colors. No way I would pay close to $2k to have it made.

Why I said I like the Non CF Wheel! That's nice!!

Do you have the Linear Espresso, or the one that has the pinstripe stitching look. I have the Expresso in my Lux, it looks Black most times and I love it.

Taking from the title of this thread, I just remembered something. (thanks Flobots) I can drive my car with no steering wheel, no steering wheel, no steering wheel.
