Default Questions about brakes

I got a 2018 gs350 f sport. Why does it seem like the front brake do all the braking. I drive in alot of stop and go traffic. I drive the same speed as everybody else. This car goes thru front brake pad where the back one are barely used. I took it to lexus about suspension but they could not find anything and told them about the brakes. Went thru two brake pad and rotors where the back pad just use about 2mm and still good

The front brakes provide about 70% of the stopping power for most vehicles like the Lexus 4GS. Depending on how aggressive you drive and brake you should experience about a 70%-30% replacement ratio, or about two front brake pad replacements with the rear brake pads lasting well beyond the second set of pads put on the front. The brand of pads and the composition of the pads can also make a difference in how the pads and rotors wear. The 4GS F-Sport package has always been hard on brakes.

Hi ... you may need to check the front tiers pressure . if the pressure is low , you should fill the tiers according to the pressure measurements written on the driver door.

You can check for brake imbalance between front and rear and between left and right.
