My cars trunk wont open with the button inside the vehicle of the car or the trunk button on the car key. I am able to open the trunk manually and am able to close it by clicking the button on the trunk. What is the issue for this? Is it possible that its related to a fuse or should I try unplugging the battery and seeing if it works (I have seen some people suggest this)? I appreciate all recommendations as I am going to try all available options this weekend.

When this happened to me twice, it was the security button in the glove compartment that was accidentally pushed by napkins or chopsticks when closing the glove compartment.

It ended up being the button in the glove box. Im glad it was as simple as that. Thank you all very much.
