I do miss the smoothness over rough roads my 14 had. I definitely prefer the styling on the 16+ f sports the regular 16+ looks odd to me. You could always downsize to 18 inch wheels to get better ride quality and cheaper tires though.
Is this true? I thought one of the big complaints with the 2016 revision was the soft ride when they redid the suspension.

@greys0uled Passed on the 2020 but found a 2019 that I'm going to see in person next week. I decided I can't buy without driving/seeing the vehicle, so going to fly out and spend some time with the car, but finances are all lined up and ready if it works out.

Yes indeed. With shipping for my trade in plus the new one, fees, taxes, title, etc. it pushed it over the top. I'll keep an eye out for one that's closer to home. That said, with the GS being so difficult to find, part of me is considering an ES.

I looked at a new 2022 LS with almost $8K in mark ups. Backed out too. Also saw an LX600 with $70K markups. Yes 70!!! Can't really buy a new car these days.

And definitely drive them all before signing anything. Don't do test drives online.

Ouch. I think one of the reasons I'm so focused on some of these cars is that it feels like you won't be able to buy a car like this in the future. The well appointed interior, the refinement, the V6, the overall polish.

That said, this is probably the wisest approach at the moment:

I agree and this is why I'm fixing mine up instead of trading it in like I always did in the past. Can't trade it for anything anymore, all the other models in the lineup don't interest me. Plus the markups are out of control.

Just like Houses. Inflated values, that wont be worth it in the next year or two when things level off.

Too many miles compared to your 2015. Do not forget the value of the Lexus warranty that will exceed your possibly expired 2015.
