Please Diagnosis This Brake Noise
Is this the brake noise a lot of GS owners are talking about? I used the CRC disc brake quiet on the shims yesterday and for a moment the noise stopped. Today it’s back and even louder. I also saw a post talking about new shims for squeaks. Can someone let me know what really works. There’s a 3 second clip of the noise but I’m not sure if it posted.

@Pocketcity - I got your video clip. No, the new shims I posted about is for front brake squeak/squeal.
That noise you made the clip of (the best I could tell) sounded more like a crunching sound.

@Pocketcity - My best guess for your crunching noise when you step on the brakes (when the car is not even moving) is the caliper pins and slides are dry and unlubricated. The caliper pins have slides which need to be lubricated at all times. Otherwise, if they are dry, there could be a grinding or crunching noise coming from them. Beyond that, the crunching noise could be coming from the brake pad pressuring down (crunching down) on rust on the rotor.
