Default GS head rest design

Hello everyone!! I’m new to this Lexus forum group! Hoping to gain lots of good info on here!!

I have a 2020 GS f sport. I can’t help but be bothered that the headrest on the GS models are plain! While all the other models has the F or Fsport logo on it! Older models of the LS even has it so why would they leave the GS so plain!? Yes the GS-F has the custom seats but it’s the exact same as the 2020 ES f sport model??? SMH.

How can I get it this customized? Can the LS headrest fit my car? Am I able to order such a thing directly from Japan? Or Toyota company?? Someone help!! 1st world problems!! Lol

You could always get the headrest embroidered.

No you can’t swap it out unless you want to interfere with FHR.

The headrests in the GS are removable at least prior to 2016. IDH if the LS headrests have the same post dimensions to fit into the GS seat. Some cars that are not removable you have to insert a paperclip into a pinhole to release it or take the backrest off to get to the mechanism to remove it. The headrests from the Luxury package are more comfortable and you can buy used ones on eBay.

@MaryMary welcome and indeed first world problems. My dealership would outsource leather repair to a guy - he happened to be there one day and I asked him about a custom logo embroidery on the headrests and he was more than happy to take the job. I decided not to do it however...

During my searches in the past, I've seen vinyl headrest stickers that might be the simplest, cheapest and easiest option. Also, easiest to remove in case you change your mind without disrupting your wallet too much.

If you want to spend the money, you could send the headrests out to get embossed. This would probably be the most expensive option.

I think the embroidery looks tacky.

Embossed looks better:

IMO there are enough f-sport and lexus logos already on the car.

Agreed that the embossed looks better. Lexus boutique sells pricey IS headrests that are embossed but i'm not sure if they will fit the 4GS:
