Yup.
I still get compliments and people are amazed when I tell them its a 2013 with 140K on the clock.
Also get from friends that they want to buy it off me when I am through with it.

@PGA71 - So, how many times have you replaced the lifetime transmission fluid in those 140k miles?

And any leaking shocks yet at that mileage?

Zero on tranny fluid.
Just bought plugs during the 4rth of July Lexus sale, but have not installed them yet. Car still runs like day 1.
Basically brakes, tires, Cabin and Engine Air Filters. Synthetic oil at every 10K intervals.

Perfect!

You should return the plugs. It'll still be running like day 1 when it has 240k miles with the OE plugs.

@bclexus I know you've been saying this forever but I still don't believe it to be true

Plugs wear out over time and can effect timing and cause misfires

I guess if you don't experience any issues, don't replace them? But then again, it's preventative maintenance.

Plugs have no moving parts. With current technology, electrodes do not wear like they used to and with today's unleaded fuels, they don't foul unless the engine starts burning oil.

Those plugs will never really 'wear out' over any time, short of 200k miles. And, timing will never be affected. Misfires will never take place. You'll have the same performance and fuel mileage at 200k miles as you did at 20k miles. It's your time, effort and money. So, go for it!

So essentially saying spark plugs are a lifetime part? I feel like this is the same debate we have on here about transmission fluid.

Who's right and who's wrong?

Plugs will last longer than the transmission fluid.

Spark plugs are definitely 'lifetime parts' if the lifetime perspective is 200k miles.

Another consideration is - what do you have to lose by not replacing the spark plugs? Nothing really! Not a thing!

Nothing will lock-up, nothing will slip, nothing will clank, nothing will grind, nothing breaks, nothing leaks, the car won't come to an abrupt halt. There are no repairs associated with not never replacing the spark plugs! There is no diminished performance or fuel mileage either. There's really absolutely nothing to lose by not replacing the spark plugs...
