How long was your honeymoon with the GS?

@JDR76 Replace the GS with something exciting
If I parted with it, I'd either just not replace it or I'd pick up something like a GR86 or a Supra. I had toyed with trading it for an LC500, and even went and test drove one, but if I swap out the GS I think I'd like to trade it for something with a manual transmission.

Something between a cross of luxurious and sporty? M2, Cayman, and 911 come to mind.

I toyed w/ the thought of an LC too, but not a fan of the whole gas thing. Plus electric is coming so... why go the way of the dinosaur. I vote keep the GS and wait for something practical, cool, and electric to come along. Electric is the near-future. Anything else is just spinning your wheels! It's like buying the ultimate/exotic high end VHS player when you know darn well the DVD / streaming revolution is coming.

I think ICE is okay for a weekend car still.
But for a daily driver? No. I'm soon to be done with ICE and move to PHEV until there's an EV I want.
I've started to hate the act of having to pump gas more than gas prices and its effect on the environment itself.

I'll move to BEV eventually. I am not against them in any way. I will say that the part I loved the most about driving the LC was the sound of the V8. Things are going more and more towards electric, but there are a LOT of gas years left. I figure I'll just buy the car I like the most and not be worried about whether it's gas or electric. As there isn't a solid electric replacement for a truck that can tow to fit my needs, I already know I'll have my gas Tundra for years and years, so having another gas car isn't an issue for me.

Gas will probably still be around until we all leave this planet. EV is nice for a daily driver and if u can charge at home but I wouldn't say no to the LC V8 if money isn't an issue.
I saw people lining up at the Tesla charging station over the weekend and I'm not liking it. I timed a few cars and it took about 15-30 mins per car and if ur number 5 in line that wouldn't be fun.

You'd look outstanding in a Model S Plaid!

@ItzFilyO - Charge at home with a Tesla Wall Connector
But those people who lives in apartment or places that can't charge their EVs at home, they would be relying on the public chargers and have to wait all day just to charge their cars.

This car must be good, I went from a 575hp V8 sedan to a 4 Cylinder GS200T and I am still loving it 2.5 years later. The gas price increase certainly helped but its just a great car to drive and still looks new when freshly detailed.
I find that I need to have an upgrade project in progress or on deck to keep me engaged. Oddly enough I even enjoy boring regular maintenance such as oil changes and brakes on this car (and my NX200T) more than I have on any car in the past.
