My GS 450h is solid as a Bentley. I don't know whether it's true or not, but I've heard that Lexus went overboard to make sure the GS 450h was as perfect for owners as possible.

I think Plaid will have more issues than my GS. Tesla's build quality has been questionable from the start right? ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
The 450 isn't mass produced like the 350 so it makes sense if they spent a bit more time building it.

I have been lucky and haven't had any errant noises or rattles in any of my GSs, but I will say that, for whatever reason, my 2019 and 2020 feel more solid than my 2015 did. Probably an illusion as a result of increased sound insulation.

True story! ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
But it wasn't always so! I put over 22k on my 15 over about 3.5 years. I had my 19 for 1.5 years and put 8 or 9k on it. It's only the 20 that has been parked so much, mainly due to WFH and the fact that I've been driving the Tundra so much. I'll have had the 20 for 2 years next month and I'm at about 2700 miles.

My previous car is a 2008 Lexus IS250 that I have since given to my oldest kid. The GS and the IS share the same chassis and several components. I'm the original owner of the IS and it currently has 194k miles on it. The only items that failed on that car were the radiator at 135k miles and rear drive axles at 150k miles. Both repairs I was able to do myself. The rear drive axles were a little bit of a pita with the multilink suspension and OEM replacements were crazy expensive. I ended up buying some very low mileage axles from a junk yard out east for $150 for the set. They looked horrible because they were exposed to winter climates but I just cleaned them up with scotch pads and coated them with some flat black spray paint. Other than that, rock solid car... its the reason I replaced it with a GS.
