Factory lasted 2.5 years. I tossed them. Now I regret. I’ll by factory again and inserts going forward.

Got this set of inserts from Amazon. At the time they were 2 pairs (4 total) for $10. Currently $11. Over 1 year and still good but hasn't rained much in So Cal.

Just picked up a pair of Bosch again . Pricey but worth it.

Last pair going on 4+ years ... and still going strong.

U can order the OEM rubbers at a Toyota dealer too and only takes 1 mins to swap the rubber inserts. Keep the stock blade/arms cause they're really expensive.

Completely opposite experience over here. The Icons do really well for me. Never had an issue with noise, skipping, etc. And that's on three different vehicles including the GS

That was back in 2016. Maybe Bosch changed something and fixed it. They're too pricey while the OEM rubber works great and cheap. Now that I park indoors, these will probably last 20 years.

I know this is somewhat an old thread but I am a spaz getting the refills out and will likely be more so getting them back in especially with the wires.

After the original blades, I've used a pair that a Toyota dealer installed but I think they used after market, then I tried RainX. Both stuttered a bit. OEM blades are costing about $18.50 now a piece shipped and refills about $7 a piece so for $11-12 I don't have to fool with the refills. Kind of a waste of money and bad for environment but I know Id be fiddling a bit.

In Australia the OEM rubber refill are $40.00AUD ($30.00 USD) a pair, yeah its a rip off but I found they work very well in my driving environment. The OE is smooth and quiet. I always change refills blades once a year. The trick to have smooth wiper operation I found is to clay bar or clay towel the windscreen every 4-6 months. This removes the traffic film and invisible stuck on contaminates.
